The ski area is home to large alpine bowls, long steep chutes and short lift lines. There’s enough terrain for beginners to improve their skills at the base of the mountain, and the 10km “It’s a Ten” run from top to bottom. There are plenty of runs for intermediates too.
With spectacular scenery and limitless terrain to explore, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a hidden gem in British Columbia. The snow that falls at Kicking Horse is consistently dry, light and a powder lover’s dream. There is less skier traffic compared to other resorts and lift lines are a rare sight. Skiers and riders have access to 2,800 skiable acres, 120 runs, 85 inbound chutes and 4,314 feet of vertical. It is only 6 feet shorter than Jackson Hole.
